Discounts:
We have discounts established based on quantities and there are (2) different types of discounts depending on the item.
Standalone discounts are for that specific item only and cannot be mixed with other items to achieve the discount advertised. These discounts are normally displayed in a dollar amount for the item off of the advertised price and depending on the number purchased will determine how its displayed in your cart.
Mix - Match discounts allow you to buy various sizes or types of items that carry the same discount such as tires and wheels and the discount will be displayed in a % percentage form off of the advertised price.
You will notice for 99% of the items there is a suggested retail or manufacturer racer cost and that is struck through with a discounted price in place. This place holder is the same whether you are viewing the store as a retail customer or logged in and viewing as a member. The member price displayed will be reduced from the retail but the format in how its displayed is the same.
All the discounts are displayed through the entire ordering process in the cart and during checkout and are located below the item but the price you see per item is the with the discounted subtracted and is the cost per item.
Customization:
Some customization options are free and are included in the price of the item, others are optional and are not required but carry a cost as an upgradable customization.
One thing to keep in mind about customization is that if these items are added to your cart and you logout or the store logs you out after a 48 hour period of inactivity, the customization will be lost. if this happens, delete the item out of the cart and customize it again and finish checking out.
On certain items like clutches, PTS combo kits and others there will be a customization window displayed that will allow you to customize the item specifically for your needs.
If an item carries a cost associated with the customization, it will displayed below the item cost denoting the extra carry along charge, see the below image.
Multiple items can be added and customized separately by clicking "add another"
Item that are customized as an add on and carry a price such as a clutch gear do not coordinate with the in stock inventory. You can check the item itself to see if it's in stock before it's added as a customized add on such as the example again of the clutch gear. You may want a 16 gear, if you want to know its in stock go to the specific area where the 16th gears are and see how many are available to assure that it can be added to this example of a clutch.
We feel with a little practice you can master this option and get exactly what you need and nothing you don't. Fell free to shoot us a message if you have any issues.
Matrix Items:
Matrix items simply put are items that allow you to pick the option such as size and color to get the exact item your looking for and its simpler to navigate and condenses searching to find the exact match.
Look at the picture of the gloves and you will see there is a dropdown for both size and color for this specific item and you can choose as needed. The inventory is still accurately reflected depending on your choice and as noted before will not allow you to purchase something that is out of stock.
