The shopping cart is where your items live after they are added from the item screen and it allows you to view and edit prior to going to checkout. 

The shopping cart is located at the top right hand portion of the screen and you can access it simply by clicking on it and you can then choose to edit the cart or proceed to checkout.

To edit the cart, you can click on the quantity to add or subtract or you can delete the item completely. At the bottom of the screen you will see where you can continue shopping or proceed to checkout.
